Removal & Installation

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . The seat belt switches are integrated with front seat belt buckle assembly.
  2. Remove appropriate front seat to access seat belt buckle. See FRONT SEAT  . Disconnect seat belt buckle electrical connector. Remove seat belt buckle nut. Remove seat belt buckle through seat cushion opening.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten seat belt buckle nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Ensure center passenger seat belt is not twisted and is correctly routed along side of seat.
