Removal & Installation

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Remove left front seat. See FRONT SEAT  .
  2. Remove sensor mounting bolt and disconnect connector. See Fig 1 . Press sensor tab inward to release sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  .
