Test H: Temperature Set Point Does Not Repeat After Turning Ignition Off

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect EATC module 13-pin harness connector C227. Measure voltage between ground and EATC module harness connector C227 terminal No. 2 (Light Green/Yellow wire). See Figure. If more than 10 volts exists, replace EATC module. Recheck system operation. If 10 volts or less exists, go to next step.
  2. Remove fuse No. 8 (15-amp) from central junction box (located behind dash, left of steering column). Measure resistance of Light Green/Yellow wire between EATC module harness connector C227 terminal No. 2 and fuse No. 8 connector socket. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace EATC module. Recheck system operation. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in Light Green/Yellow wire. Recheck system operation.
