Removal & Installation

  1. Ensure air suspension is off. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Raise vehicle on hoist. Remove drive belt from A/C pulley.
  2. Disconnect wire harness connectors from crankshaft position sensor and A/C compressor clutch coil. Detach wire harness retainer from compressor bracket and set aside. Remove 3 compressor lower bolts and lower A/C compressor.
  3. Remove manifold and tube assembly bolt. Cap openings immediately. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use new "O" rings. Apply pipe sealant to manifold and tube assembly bolt. Evacuate, charge, and leak test A/C system.
