Front Wheel Bearings
- Front wheel bearings are a hub unit design and are prelubricated and sealed. Bearings do not require scheduled maintenance. Bearings are preset and cannot be adjusted.
- To inspect, raise and support vehicle. Rotate wheel assembly. Excessive roughness or resistance may indicate bearing failure. Move wheel in and out while lifting weight of tire off front wheel bearing. Visually inspect wheel bearings. Minor grease loss from bearing is considered normal. If wheel bearing is loose or does not rotate freely, replace wheel bearing. See FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
