Shock Absorber: Installation

Place washer and NEW rubber bushing on shock absorber top stud. Position unit inside spring. Install 2 self-tapping screws, and tighten to specification. Lower vehicle. Place NEW bushing and washer on top stud. Install and tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE: If threads in lower control arm become stripped or damaged, install new 5/16 x 18" lock nuts on lower shock mount screws.
