Spring Lock Coupling: Installation

  1. Install A/C tube lock coupling spring. See Figure. Lubricate inside of coupling with refrigerant compressor oil. Install "O" ring seals and lubricate "O" ring seals with PAG refrigerant compressor oil.
  2. Connect spring lock coupling fittings with a twisting motion until A/C tube lock coupling spring snaps over flared end of female fitting. Install A/C tube lock coupling clip. See Figure.
