Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING & CABLES .
  2. Raise the vehicle.
  3. Remove the right front wheel and tire.
  4. Separate the exhaust at the exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
  5. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation tube at the exhaust manifold connector.
  6. Remove the eight nuts.
    • Remove the exhaust manifold.
    • Remove the gasket.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
