Condition Possible Sources Action
  • The public safety equipment power supply is inoperative--red accessory connector
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 16 (50A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Power relay.
  • The public safety equipment power supply is inoperative--blue accessory connector
  • BJB fuse 4 (30A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 15 (15A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Relay.
  • The deck lamps are inoperative
  • Bulbs.
  • Circuitry.
  • Rear flasher.
  • The deck lamps are always on
  • Circuitry.
  • REPAIR circuit 464 (BK/PK) for short to battery. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The individual deck lamp is never on
  • Bulb.
  • Circuitry.
  • Rear flasher.
  • CHECK circuit 1 (DB) (LH) or circuit 2 (WH/LB) (RH). If OK, INSTALL a new rear flasher. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The individual deck lamp is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • REPAIR circuit 1 (DB) (LH) or circuit 2 (WH/LB) (RH) for short to battery. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The public safety lighting component is inoperative--front flasher
  • Circuitry.
  • Front flasher.
  • CHECK front flasher power supply circuit 37 (BU/YE). If OK, INSTALL a new front flasher. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The public safety lighting component is inoperative--LH package tray lamp (s)
  • Circuitry.
  • Emergency flasher relay No. 1.
  • The public safety lighting component is inoperative--RH package tray lamp (s)
  • Circuitry.
  • Emergency flasher relay No. 2.
