Symptom Testing

On all applications, using REFERENCE VALUE SYMPTOM table can help in selecting PIDs that are related to a specific fault area. See REFERENCE VALUE SYMPTOM  table. Select a symptom from table, note category number and proceed to REFERENCE VALUE SYMPTOM-TO-PID (NGV & GASOLINE)  table. For multiple symptoms, select most evident symptom. Match category number with related PIDs/measured signals (component and signal) and perform PID TESTING .
