Removal and Installation

NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
  1. Move the seat fully forward.
  2. Remove the rear front seat track covers (17016).

  3. Remove the nuts.

  4. Move the seat fully rearward.
  5. Remove the seat track front covers (61748).

  6. Remove the bolts.

  7. Disconnect the battery (14301).
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    9. CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result in damaged components.
  9. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  11. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
