Parking Brake Shoes: Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the brake disc.
- Remove the brake shoe adjusting screw springs. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the brake shoe adjustment screw. See Fig 2 .
- Remove the brake shoe hold down springs. See Fig 3 .
- Remove the parking brake shoe and linings.
- Inspect the components for excessive wear or damage, and install new components as required.
