Parking Brake Shoes: Installation
NOTE:
Lubricate the brake shoe contact point and adjusting screw threads before installation of the rear brake shoes, using High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant (F6AZ-9L494-AA).
Follow the removal procedure in reverse order. Use a brake adjusting gauge to set the rear brake shoe and lining diameter to 0.020" (0.5 mm) less than the inside diameter of the drum portion of the brake disc. Adjust the parking brake cable tension. See PARKING BRAKE under ADJUSTMENTS.
