Rear Brake Caliper: Disassembly

Raise and support vehicle. Remove brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. To remove caliper piston, place shop towels in caliper and apply air pressure to brake hose bore. Remove dust boot. Being careful not to scratch caliper bore, remove piston bore seal. See Figure .
