Starter Cranks In Reverse Or Forward Gears

Check shift linkage adjustment. See SHIFT LINKAGE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Adjust as necessary. Check adjustment of Transmission Range (TR) sensor. Adjust as necessary. See TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR  under ADJUSTMENTS. If problem persists, install new TR sensor and check system for normal operation.
