Removal & Installation (TOWN CAR & CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS)

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Relieve the system pressure.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist
Remove the fuel filter.NOTE: Make sure the rubber boot of the forward 90° fuel line is still glued in place.
1. Disconnect the R-clip fittings.
2. Loosen the clamp.
3. Remove the fuel filter.
NOTE: Install a new R-clip (5/16) to connector Follow the removal procedure in reverse order..

NOTE: Tightening torque ; 18-26 Ib./in (2-3 Nm)
