Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accelerator cable from pedal and shaft. See STEP 1 in Fig 1. Disconnect adjustable drive cable from brake pedal. See STEP 2 in Fig 1. Disconnect drive motor connector. See STEP 3 in Fig 1. Remove nuts and remove accelerator pedal and shaft. See STEP 4 in Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Adjustable pedal system must be indexed when components are serviced. See ADJUSTABLE PEDAL INDEXING under PROGRAMMING.
