Cruise Control Cable: Removal

Remove engine cover nut and remove engine cover. See STEP 1 in Figure. Remove air cleaner resonator nut and position air cleaner resonator aside. See STEP 2 in Figure. Remove cruise control servo/actuator bolt and remove cruise control servo/actuator cable from throttle lever. See STEP 3 in Figure. Push in locking arm on cruise control servo/actuator cable cap. Rotate cruise control servo/actuator cable cap counterclockwise and remove cruise control servo/actuator cable cap from cruise control servo/actuator. See STEP 4 in Figure. Depress spring retainer, slide core wire end out of cruise control servo/actuator pulley and remove cruise control servo/actuator cable. See STEP 5 in Figure.
