Removal & Installation
Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Remove steering wheel cover screws from back. See STEP 1 in Fig 1. Position steering wheel cover aside to access harness connector. Disconnect harness connector and remove steering wheel cover. See STEP 2 in Fig 1. Push speed control actuator switches out toward face of steering wheel. Position speed control actuator switches through steering wheel openings and remove switch assembly. See STEP 3 in Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
