Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil pump screen and pickup tube to cylinder block bolt.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. Remove the 2 oil pump screen and pickup tube to oil pump bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

4. Remove the oil pump screen and pickup tube. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

5. NOTE: Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
