Normal Operation
The audio unit receives a vehicle speed signal from the powertrain control module (PCM) through circuit 679 (GY/BK). When the vehicle speed increases, the audio unit receives this change in signal output from the PCM and increases the volume level. When the vehicle speed decreases, the audio unit interprets this signal change and decreases the volume level.

Possible Causes
- circuit 679 (GY/BK) open or short to ground
- audio unit
