PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

The DSM is on the universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART)-based protocol (UBP) communication network. To support several vehicle subsystems, the module permits intermodule and diagnostic tool communications.

The memory driver seat feature allows the driver to program a personalized seat position that can be recalled using the memory switches or the RKE transmitter.
