Test D: The Auto-Dimming Mirror Does Not Operate Correctly

Normal Operation
Under normal operation the auto-dimming mirror receives power from circuit 1003 (GY/YE) and ground from circuit 1205 (BK). If the vehicle is placed in REVERSE, voltage is sent to circuit 140 (BK/PK) and the auto-dimming mirror will turn the dimming feature OFF.

Possible Causes
- Open in circuit 1003 (GY/YE), 1205 (BK) or 140 (BK/PK).
- Inoperative auto-dimming mirror.
