PINPOINT TEST C: INCORRECT VOLTAGE GAUGE INDICATION

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster uses voltage supplied on circuit 3049 (BK/LG) to determine the voltage gauge pointer position. The instrument cluster sets DTC B1317 if the battery voltage exceeds 16.5 volts DC ± 0.5 volts DC when the ignition switch is in the START/RUN position. The instrument cluster sets DTC B1318 if the battery voltage drops below 9 volts DC ± 0.5 volts DC when the ignition switch is in the START/RUN position.
