Test D: The Daytime Running Lamps Are Inoperative - The Low Beam Headlamps Are on At Full Intensity In DRL Mode

PINPOINT TEST D: THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE - THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS ARE ON AT FULL INTENSITY IN DRL MODE

D1:

Normal Operation
Battery voltage is supplied to the daytime running lamp (DRL) module through circuit 434 (LB/BK). Switched power from central junction box (CJB) fuse 3 (5A) supplies power to the DRL module through circuit 932 (GY/WH). Input from the parking brake switch is sent through circuit 162 (LG/RD). Input from the low beam headlamps is received from circuit 13 (RD/BK). The reduced voltage that the DRL module sends out, flows through circuit 13 (RD/BK) to the low beam headlamps. Ground to the DRL module and the DRL/turn relay is provided through circuit 1203 (BK/LB).

Possible Cause
- DRL module
