FRONT BUMPER

STANDARD TYPE : Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Bumper fascia is made of resin. Do not apply strong force to it, and be careful to prevent contact with oil.

REMOVAL
1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove air duct (inlet).

3. Remove clips (A) of bumper fascia upper side.
4. Remove screws of front air spoiler and remove front air spoiler.
5. Remove bolts of front under cover and then remove under cover. Refer to EI-35, "Component Parts Location". Locations
6. Remove front side of fender protector (LH/RH).




7. Remove screws (A) of bumper fascia left/right side.
8. Remove bolts (B) of bumper fascia left/right side.




9. Disconnect fog lamp harness connectors (A) (LH/RH).
10. Pull back bumper fascia, and then remove bumper fascia.

CAUTION: When removing bumper fascia, 2 workers are required so as to prevent it from dropping.

11. Remove the following parts after removing bumper fascia.
- Front grille.
- Front fog lamp assembly (LH/RH).
- Front bumper grille
- Front bumper finisher (LH/RH)
- License plate bracket
- Bumper side bracket (LH/RH)

12. Remove bumper energy absorber.
13. Remove bumper reinforcement mounting nuts, and remove bumper reinforcement with power tool.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: After installing, perform fitting adjustment.






Removal and Installation of Front Bumper Grille

REMOVAL
1. Remove front bumper fascia.




2. Remove front bumper grille fixing clips (A).
3. Disengage front bumper grille (1) fixing pawls, and then remove front bumper grille (1).

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation of Front Bumper Grille Molding

REMOVAL
1. Remove front bumper fascia.




2. Remove front bumper grille (2).
3. Disengage front bumper grille molding (1) fixing screws, and then remove front bumper grille molding (1).

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation of Front Bumper Finisher

REMOVAL
1. Remove bolts of front under cover and then remove under cover. Refer to EI-35, "Component Parts Location". Locations
2. Remove front side of fender protector.




3. Disengage front bumper finisher (1) fixing pawls, and then remove front bumper finisher (1).

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation of Front Bumper Finisher Molding

REMOVAL





1. Remove front bumper finisher (2).
2. Disengage front bumper finisher molding (1) fixing pawls, and then remove front bumper finisher molding (1).

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
