Installing an accessory remote control engine starter? Make sure you follow the installation instructions to the letter!

This is especially important if you're installing it on a Touring model. Although we clearly state that steps 41 through 47 apply to all models except Touring, some techs working on a Touring model have gone ahead and done those steps, instead of skipping them and going to step 48 as instructed.

Keep in mind if you do steps 41 through 47 on a Touring model, this accessory won't work properly after installation. Tech Line has gotten a number calls where this has been the case.
