EPS Motor Removal & Installation: Removal

NOTE:  Do not allow dust, dirt, or other foreign materials to enter the steering gearbox.

1. 1. 12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect
2. 2. Vehicle - Lift
3. 3. Splash Shield - Remove (If equipped)
4. 4. Front Floor Undercover - Remove - Refer to: Middle Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationRear Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationFront Floor Undercover Removal and Installation
5. 5. Connectors - Disconnect

   NOTE:  Wrap the connectors with vinyl tape to avoid contamination from grease or water.

   1. Disconnect the connector (A) by pushing the lock (B), and pulling up the lever (C)

   2. Disconnect the connector (D)

   3. Remove the harness clips (E).

6. 6. EPS Motor - Remove

   1. Remove the EPS motor (A) and the O-ring (B).
