Pulley End Crankshaft Oil Seal Replacement - In Car: Replacement

1. Clean and dry the crankshaft oil seal housing

2. Apply a light coat of new engine oil to the lip of the pulley end crankshaft oil seal

3. Using the oil seal driver, 64 mm, drive in the new pulley end crankshaft oil seal (A) squarely into the chain case to the specified installed height.

4. Measure the distance between the chain case surface (A) and the oil seal (B).

5. Clean the excess oil off the crankshaft, and check that the oil seal lip is not distorted.
