Front Power Seat Motor Removal and Installation: Removal

Slide Motor 

• 1. Front Seat - Remove 
• 2. Slide Motor - Remove

  1. Remove the slide motor cover (A).

  2. Release the cable housing (A) from the hooks (B) 3. Disconnect the flex cable (C) from the warm gear (D) 4. Disconnect the flex cable from the slide motor (E).NOTE  : Take care not to kink the cable.

  5. Disconnect the connector (A) 6. Detach the harness clip (B) 7. Remove the bolts (C) with a TORX T30 bit.

  8. Disconnect the slide motor (A) from the short flex cable (B), then remove the slide motor bracket (C).

  9. Remove the short flex cable (A).

  10. Remove the slide motor (A).

  Front Up-Down Motor (For Some Models) 

• 1. Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove 
• 2. Front Up-Down Motor - Remove

  1. Disconnect the connector (A)

  2. Remove the bolts (B, C) with TORX T30 and T40 bits, then remove the front up-down motor assembly (D).

  3. Detach the connector clip (A), and remove the bolts (B) with a TORX T30 bit 4. Remove the front up-down motor (C) from the front up-down motor bracket (D).

  Rear Up-Down Motor (For Some Models) 

• 1. Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Remove 
• 2. Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove 
• 3. Rear Up-Down Motor - Remove

  1. Remove the bolts (A, B) with TORX T30 and T40 bits, then remove the rear brake bracket (C).

  2. Remove the gear (A).

  3. Disconnect the connector (A), then detach the connector clip (B) 4. Remove the bolts (C) with a TORX T30 bit, then remove the rear up-down motor (D).
