Front Seat Removal and Installation: Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. 12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect
NOTE: Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
2. Front Seat Belt Lower Anchor Bolt - Remove (Without front driver's lap belt tensioner)
3. Head Restraint - Remove

1. Remove the rear inner seat track end cover (A) and the rear outer seat track end cover (B).

2. Remove the front seat front mounting bolts (A).

3. Remove the front seat rear mounting bolts (A).

Driver's seat - Without DPMS

Passenger's seat - Without subwoofer

4. Disconnect the connector (A)

5. Passenger's seat without subwoofer and with sitting switch: Disconnect the connector (B)

6. Passenger's seat with subwoofer: Disconnect the connector (C)

7. With seat heater: Disconnect the connector (D)

8. Detach the harness clip(s) (E)

9. With the help of an assistant, carefully remove the front seat through the front door opening.
