Removal & Installation

Carpet Type 1 

• 1. Both Kick Panels - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 2. Center Console - Remove 
• 3. Both Front Seats - Remove
• 4. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 5. Both Rear Damper Maintenance Covers - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 6. Both Rear Carpet Trims - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 7. Both Rear Seat Cushion Assemblies - Remove
• 8. Both Rear Seat-Back Assemblies - Remove
• 9. Steering Joint Cover - Remove
• 10. Carpet - Remove

  1. Remove the clips (A)

  2. Pull out the floor wire harnesses (B), then remove the carpet (C).

  3. If necessary, remove the floor mat holder (A).

• 11. Foot Stopper - Remove

  1. If necessary, remove the foot stopper (A).

• 12. All Removed Parts - Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

  Carpet Type 2 Front Floor Carpet 

• 1. Both Kick Panels - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 2. Center Console - Remove 
• 3. Both Front Seats - Remove
• 4. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 5. Steering Joint Cover - Remove
• 6. Front Floor Carpet - Remove

  1. Remove the clips (A)

  2. Pull out the floor wire harnesses (B), then remove the front floor carpet (C).

  3. If necessary, remove the floor mat holder (A).

  1. If necessary, remove the foot stopper (A).

• 8. All Removed Parts - Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

  Rear Floor Carpet 

• 9. Center Console - Remove 
• 10.Both Front Seats - Remove
• 11.Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 12. Front Floor Carpet - Remove

  1. Remove the clips (A), then pry up the front floor carpet rear side (B) as needed.

• 13.Both Rear Damper Maintenance Covers - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 14.Both Rear Carpet Trims - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas 
• 15.Both Rear Seat Cushion Assemblies - Remove
• 16.Both Rear Seat-Back Assemblies - Remove
• 17. Rear Floor Carpet - Remove

• 18. All Removed Parts - Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
