Removal & Installation

1. Detach the cables (A) from the cable clip (B)

2. Remove the bolts (C) with a TORX T30 bit.

3. Slide the front door latch (A) down to disconnect the outer handle rod (B) as shown 4. Remove the front door latch. NOTE:  Take care not to bend the outer handle rod, the inner handle cable (C), and the latch cable (D).

1. Open the latch protector cover (A).

2. Disconnect the latch cable (A) and the inner handle cable (B).

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: 

• If the inner handle cable end is damaged or stress-whitened, replace it with a new one.
• Make sure the front door outer handle rod (A) goes into the latch (B) securely.
