Removal & Installation

1. Detach the rear door plastic cover as needed

1. Remove the plug cap (A), then remove the bolt (B)

2. Remove the rear door outer handle cover (C).

3. Remove the nut (A).

4. Remove the rear door outer handle (A).

5. Remove the rear door outer handle seals (A).

6. Remove the rear door outer handle base (A).

7. If necessary, release the rod fastener (A), then remove the rear door outer handle rod (B).

8. Remove the rod fastener (A) from the rear door outer handle base (B), then replace it with a new one.

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:  Make sure the rear door outer handle rod (A) goes into the latch (B) securely.
