Audio System Symptom Troubleshooting - XM radio display is blank and no station information is displayed(With Navigation, With Display Audio)
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle 12 volt battery condition first .
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- 1. Problem verification:
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is the XM radio information displayed?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
NO
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
- 2. Navigation system DTC check:
- 1. Check for hard error codes .
Is DTC 2607 indicated?
YES
Go to DTC 2607 troubleshooting .
NO
Go to step 3.
- 3. XM receiver check (substitution):
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Substitute a known-good XM receiver, and recheck .
Does the symptom go away?
YES
Replace the original XM receiver .
NO
