Audio System Symptom Troubleshooting - XM radio preset memory is lost
NOTE: If you can only tune to channel 000, 001, and 174, make sure the XM radio is set to channel mode (see the Owner's Manual), if it is set to channel mode, call XM Radio customer support at 800-852-9696, and check the account activation status.
- 1. Problem verification:
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Turn on the audio system, and set the XM radio presets.
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, and wait at least 1 minute.
- 4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 5. Turn on the audio system, and test the XM radio preset for proper recall operation.
Do the preset icons recall the set XM stations?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
