INTRODUCTION

When replacing the cabin filter or front passenger airbag/inflator, you will need to drop down the glove box. The Drop Down Glove Box Cover (Model No. VSB02C000051)  is a required tool that keeps the items in the glove box secure and organized while you drop the glove box down to access the area behind the dashboard.

Keep in mind this tool does not work on glove boxes that are not the drop down type; the glove box must have sides for the cover to attach to. Also, this cover works on a variety of glove boxes but may fit slightly different, depending on the glove box.

  3. Pull the bungee cords on both sides, and hook them to the sides of the glove box to hold the cover in place.

  4. The cover will hold the glove box contents in place while you do various service functions, like cabin air filter replacement, front passenger airbag/inflator service, or any other work required behind the glove box.

    NOTE:
    • Do not expose the cover to high heat. It will warp and deform, making it unusable.
    • Before returning the vehicle to your customer, carefully remove the cover in the reverse order of installation.
