Test Procedure

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

• 1. Column Cover - Remove
• 2. Ignition Key Light - Test

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  2. The LED should come on when 12 volt battery power is connected to terminal No. 3 and ground is connected to terminal No. 2.

  3. If the LED does not come on, the ignition key light is faulty; replace the steering lock (A) .

• 3. All Removed Parts - Install - Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
