Removal & Installation

1. Detach the front door plastic cover as needed.

1. Remove the plug cap (A), then remove the bolt (B).

2. Remove the front door lock cylinder (A).

1. With keyless access system: Disconnect the connector (A), and detach the connector clip (B)

2. Remove the nut (C).

3. Remove the front door outer handle (A).

4. Remove the front door outer handle seals (A).

5. Remove the front door outer handle base (A).

6. If necessary, release the rod fastener (A), then remove the front door outer handle rod (B) 7. Remove the rod fastener from the front door outer handle base (C), then replace it with a new one.

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:  Make sure the front door outer handle rod (A) goes into the latch (B) securely.
