Removal & Installation

NOTE: Step 1 - 3 shows with power tailgate.

1. Tailgate Upper Trim Panel - Remove - Refer to: Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Pillar Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Tailgate Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Cargo Areas Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Rear Side Area Interior Trim Removal and Installation - Door Areas
2. Left Side Tailgate Side Trim Panel - Remove

3. Power Tailgate Rod - Remove

4. Tailgate Weatherstrip - Remove

5. All Removed Parts - Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Make sure there are no wrinkles in the weatherstrip.
6. Water Leaks - Check
