Removal & Installation

NOTE: Be careful not to bend or distort the cable.

1. Vehicle - Lift
2. Parking Brake - Release
3. Driver's Dashboard Undercover - Remove - Refer to: Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal and Installation Driver's Dashboard Undercover Removal and Installation
4. Driver's Dashboard Panel - Remove
5. Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover - Remove

6. Parking Brake Pedal - Remove

1. Remove the lock pin (A) and the clevis pin (B)

2. Remove the parking brake cable mounting bolts (C).

3. Disconnect the connector (A)

4. Remove the harness clip (B)

5. Remove the parking brake pedal bracket mounting bolt (C) and nuts (D)

6. Remove the parking brake pedal assembly (E).

7. Parking Brake Switch - Remove

1. Remove the parking brake switch (A).
8. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Install the parking brake cable (A) by aligning the tab (B) with the groove (C) then install the parking brake cable mounting bolts.
9. Parking Brake - Adjust
