Steering Lock Removal & Installation: Removal

1. 1. Steering Column - Remove 
2. 2. Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit - Remove (Without Keyless Access system)
3. 3. Steering Lock - Remove

   Without keyless access

   1. Center-punch both of the two shear bolts (A)

   2. Drill their heads off with a 5.0 mm (0.20 in) drill bit. Be careful not to damage the steering lock when removing the shear bolts.

   NOTE:  The shear bolts have left-hand threads.

   3. Remove the steering lock (B).
