Removal & Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

• 1. Front Seat - Remove
• 2. Front Seat Belt Buckle - Remove

  1. Disconnect the connector (A)

  2. Detach the connector clip (B) and the harness clip(s) (C)

  3. Pry up the hooks (D) of the harness holders (E), then release them from the seat cushion frame springs (F).

  4. Passenger's seat: Release the hook strip (A), then turn over the seat cushion cover

  5. Detach the harness clip(s) (B)

  6. Remove the seat belt buckle (C).

  1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

  NOTE:  Assemble the washers (A), the bearing (B) and the collar (C) on the anchor bolt (D) as shown.
