Transfer Assembly Removal & Installation(AWD/4WD): Removal

NOTE:  Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

• 1. Vehicle - Lift
• 2. Transmission Fluid (HCF-2) - Drain 
• 3. Front Floor Undercover - Remove - Refer to: Middle Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationRear Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationFront Floor Undercover Removal and Installation
• 4. Exhaust Pipe A - Remove
• 5. Propeller Shaft (Transfer Side) - Disconnect
• 6. Transfer Assembly - Remove

  1. Remove the transfer assembly (A) with the O-ring (B)

  2. Remove the dowel pin (C).
