Transfer Assembly Removal & Installation(AWD/4WD): Installation

NOTE:  Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

• 1. Transfer Assembly - Install

  1. Clean the areas where the transfer assembly contacts the transmission with solvent, and dry with compressed air

  2. Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid to the transfer mount and transfer driven gear (A)

  3. Install the dowel pin (B)

  4. Install the transfer assembly (C) with a new O-ring (D).

• 2. Propeller Shaft (Transfer Side) - Connect
• 3. Exhaust Pipe A - Install
• 4. Front Floor Undercover - Install - Refer to: Middle Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationRear Floor Undercover Removal and InstallationFront Floor Undercover Removal and Installation
• 5. Transmission Fluid - Refill 
• 6. Transmission Fluid Level - Check
