CVT Differential Carrier Disassembly and Reassembly: Disassembly

NOTE:  The carrier bearing and the carrier bearing outer race should be replaced as a set.

• 1. Final Driven Gear - Remove

  NOTE:  The final driven gear bolts have left-hand threads.

• 2. Differential Carrier Bearing - Remove

  1. Remove the carrier bearings (A) using a commercially available bearing puller (B) and a spacer (C).
