Removal & Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

• 1. Passenger's Dashboard Undercover - Remove - Refer to: Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal and InstallationDriver's Dashboard Undercover Removal and Installation
• 2. Glove Box - Remove
• 3. Glove Box Frame - Remove

• 4. Passenger's Heater Duct - Remove

• 5. Cross Brace - Remove

  1. Cut the cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown, and remove it.

  NOTE:  Retain the cross brace to be reinstalled later.

• 6. Blower Unit - Remove

  1. Disconnect the connector (A)

  2. Detach the harness clip (B).

  3. Disconnect the connector (A) 4. Detach the harness clips (B).

  5. Remove the blower unit (A).

• 7. All Removed Parts - Install

  1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

  NOTE:  Install the cross brace after glove box frame install.
