Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Removal & Installation: Removal

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE: 

• Removal of the front passenger's weight sensors must be done according to Precautions and Procedures .
• The front passenger's weight sensor is part of the seat rail and must be replaced as an assembly.

• 1. 12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect

  NOTE:  Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

• 2. Front Seat Frame (Passenger's side) - Remove
• 3. Front Passenger's Seat Rail/Front Passenger's Weight Sensors - Remove

  1. Remove the seat cushion frame (A).

  2. Remove the nuts (A), then remove the front passenger's seat rail/front passenger's weight sensors as an assembly (B).
