Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the right instrument panel trim. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the center air outlets. Refer to OUTLET, AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Remove the two radio display panel screws (1a).
  6. Using a suitable tool, release the integral latches (1c) and gently remove the radio display (1b).
  7. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2a).
  8. Remove the radio display (1b) from the vehicle.
