Removal And Installation - Instrument Panel Center Speaker: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative cable from the battery.

  2. With a suitable tool, remove the speaker grill (1a) from the instrument panel, by releasing the integral latches (1b, 1c).

  3. Remove the two speaker screws (1a).
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2).
  5. Remove the speaker (1b) from the instrument panel.
